With only appx. 750 homes in this enclave, Essex Fells (former resort town from 100 years ago) is full of historic custom built stone homes in a park-like setting. There is a town pond that is dammed and freezes in the winter...looks like a postcard when you see the families out there ice-skating in the winter. Most homes are on at least an acre.
